libannodex is a library to provide reading and writing of Annodex
files and streams.

The src/ directory contains the source code for the library itself.

The include/ directory contains the annodex include files that will
be installed into the system include directory.
 
The doc/ directory contains some documentation for ANNODEX. The
subdirectory libannodex is autocreated by doxygen from comments contained
in the source code.
 
The win32/ directory contains the files necessary to compile the
library for MS Windows using nmake.
 
This library is installed using the standard configure, make, make
install sequence. Full details in the file INSTALL.
 
Importers are searched for, in order:
a) the directory specified in the ANX_IMPORTERS_DIR environment variable,
   if specified
b) the current (uninstalled) source tree
c) the system importers dir, as reported by configure
