LibRoadnav is a library that makes mapping data easily accessible to 
developers. It can automatically download mapping data from a variety 
of free online sources, process that data, and make street maps of 
any place in the United States available to developers and their 
applications. It can also produce turn by turn directions from one 
place in the US to another.

1. INSTALLATION

Unix Prerequisites:
- wxWindows 2.6.2 or newer
- g++
- make

Windows Prerequisites:
- wxWindows 2.6.2 or newer
- Microsoft Visual C++ 2005

Installation is simply a matter of entering './configure' and 'make install'
at the command prompt.
 
If you would like to compile using Microsoft Visual Studio under Windows,
open the LibRoadnav project file in the Win32\MSVC6LIB or Win32\MSVC7LIB
directory and build it.
