système « <span class="quote"><span class="application">System V</span></span> », lequel est hérité de
<span class="application">AT&T</span> <span class="application">UNIX</span>, est une des procédures traditionnelles de
démarrage d'<span class="application">UNIX</span>. Le système est en charge du démarrage et de
l'arrêt des services afin d'amener le système dans un état par
défaut. Dans ce contexte, les services vont de l'identification des
utilisateurs au serveur de login graphique en passant par les
services Internet.
