As such, the library contains both C and C++ code; although the published API consists of C++ objects only. <span class="application">LibMAIL</span> uses C++ objects declared in the <code class="literal">mail</code> namespace. Applications that use <span class="application">LibMAIL</span> should refrain from declaring any objects in the <code class="literal">mail</code> namespace.
