File Types Editor NEWS ====================== Version 0.2.1 [stable] ---------------------- This is a maintenance release of assoGiate. Various minor interface improvements have been made. An issue with locating the manual has been fixed, and a basic man page has been added. This release is considered stable for packaging. An upcoming unstable branch will introduce support for modifying preferred applications. Version 0.2.0 [unstable] ------------------------ This is a major feature release of assoGiate. Default icons can now be selected for file types without them. Specific file types can now be searched for by name or description. The root user can switch between the user and system databases. A complete manual and an application icon have been added. The file type dialog has been rearranged, and terminology has been standardised throughout. Kristian Poul Herkild and Daniel Nylander have provided preliminary Danish and Swedish translations, respectively. Many minor improvements have also been made. The file type dialog now displays the theme icon for a type and the database locations where a type is defined. Two minor XML output issues have been fixed, and some API has been simplified.
