Applications send data to be converted to the driver through a <a class="link" href="re68.html" title="V4L2 write()"><code class="function">write()</code></a> call, and receive the converted data through a <a class="link" href="re66.html" title="V4L2 read()"><code class="function">read()</code></a> call.
