Starts I/O against the buffers at mapping->private_list, and waits upon
that I/O.
</p><p>
Basically, this is a convenience function for <code class="function">fsync</code>.
<em class="parameter"><code>mapping</code></em> is a file or directory which needs those buffers to be written for
a successful <code class="function">fsync</code>.
