This patch fixes it by disabling highmem allocations in the xen case. It is one of multiple possible ways to fix it. It's not yet fixed upstream. cheers, Gerd --- kernel/kexec.c | 4 ++++ 1 file changed, 4 insertions(+) Index: linux-2.6.18.noarch/kernel/kexec.c =================================================================== --- linux-2.6.18.noarch.orig/kernel/kexec.c +++ linux-2.6.18.noarch/kernel/kexec.c @@ -803,7 +803,11 @@ static int kimage_load_normal_segment(st char *ptr; size_t uchunk, mchunk; +#ifdef CONFIG_XEN + page = kimage_alloc_page(image, GFP_USER, maddr); +#else page = kimage_alloc_page(image, GFP_HIGHUSER, maddr); +#endif if (page == 0) { result = -ENOMEM; goto out;
